FAQ's

How can we create space for all who want to attend?
  • We will open with 2 Service times 9am & 10:45am to create space for all who would like to attend without overfilling our worship center.
How long will our services be?
  • Our worship services will be limited to 60 minutes in order to limit overall exposure times, give plenty of time for catching up with friends and family AND to help us transition cars in and out of our parking lot between services
How will we remain distanced according to state regulations?
  • We will have chair rows spaced for social distancing according to our states requirements.  We are requesting as you are seated to keep three chairs of distance between you and the next family.
  • We will dismiss at the end of service and ask that ALL attendees head outdoors for talking, connecting and chatting up with each other.  This allows us to begin cleaning our building and it helps maintain healthy social distancing in an open environment outdoors.
What cleaning and health precautions are you taking to clean the building?
  • We have created a new Health & Wellness Serve Team that will wipe down all commodes, surfaces, handles and door knobs before and in between our services.  We have also installed touchless soap dispensers in our bathrooms and will have hand sanitizing stations posted in multiple places in our building.
I’m a hugger. Let’s do this!
  • In this season, we ask that you not force hugs or handshakes on anyone.  Out of courtesy, please ask permission for a hug or handshake.  PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED if someone wants to remain contactless for now.  We are called to honor our fellow brother and sister wherever they are at.  If you are not ready for human contact and someone wants to shake hands, simply say “I’m staying contactless for now, but I’m so glad to see you!”
Will we require attendees to wear masks?
  • While we will not require people to wear masks, we will be providing masks for anyone that would like one.  And, of course, feel free to bring your own if you’d like.
What other precautions are being taken to help maximize the cleanliness of the building.
  • We will not initially offer Communion during our services
  • We will not initially be making coffee or food items available
  • We will no longer be passing offering baskets during our services.  We will have two offering boxes available for you to drop your tithes and offerings into
  • We will be removing the shared Bibles from under pews to help limit surfaces that can be touched by multiple hands.  Please bring your own bibles.  If you do not own a Bible, we will gladly give one to you!  We will also post all scriptures referenced on our screens in the Worship Center.
Will we reopen with kids' ministry?
  • On site Kids’ Ministry will resume on June 28 for ages 0-Kindergarten and July 12 for all ages birth to 5th grade.  We will also continue to supply parents with online teachings, Zoom calls and other resources as we have been.
What should we do if we have children and still would like to come?
  • In service children will be provided with Kids Activity Packs for families that choose to attend our services together.
  • We will also have a nursing mother’s room for moms with infants.  Our service will be live streamed there as well.
How will we be ministering to children until we restart Kids' Ministry on Sunday mornings?
  • We will continue to provide online teachings, worship and personal engagements via Zoom Calls for our kids every Sunday afternoon at 4pm beginning June 7th.
What if we are not quite ready to return?
  • Please feel NO PRESSURE to attend our service on-site.  We will continue to fully engage those who will be watching through our live-stream.  We also encourage those who are immunocompromised or elderly to stay home in accordance with the state’s recommendations.  Again, NO PRESSURE for anyone to attend.  Anyone who comes will be welcomed.  Anyone who stays home will be fully made to be a part of our time together.
What if I am not feeling well but want to come and support my church?
  • If you are exhibiting any signs AT ALL of feeling unwell, please stay home.  It is the respectful and honoring thing to do.  Rest, recuperate and take it easy.  Also, if you know you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last two weeks, please stay home.  Join our livestream and we will look forward to seeing once you healthy and are in the clear.
How can we help make our people and our building ready for return?
There are 4 core Serve Teams that are needed as we return:
  • Worship and A/V Production:  Helping make our online and onsite service both excellent and personal for those joining in
  • Welcome/Greeters and Ushers:  Creating a warm and welcoming environment as people return
  • Health & Wellness Team:  Those dedicated to assisting our cleaning crew by wiping down surfaces to keep our building fresh and clean for all who enter!
  • Kids' Ministry:  Those who love and care for our children during the 9am service.

I'd like to help!
