We don't take student ministry lightly! We have a dedicated team that is gifted and called to minister to our students.
This year we are pursuing a powerful Bible-based curriculum written by some of the heavy hitters in teen ministry around the world. It's the GROW curriculum from Kenny and Elle Campbell. GROW addresses such topics as our relationship with God and with others, being able to tell our story, friends, habits, families, right and wrong and using our spiritual gifts.
We have fun! Recently, we've played capture the flag, marshmallow chubby bunny, had a blast at a multi-band Christian concert, danced a shaving cream balloon stomp, and went bowling. We've offered Wednesday night Midweek Matrix as a time of teaching, worship and hanging out. Sunday morning Words in Red, studying what Jesus said and did. Our short-term local missions is called Bring the Blessing. Sicilian Sunday is where teen families share a meal together. And Crazy Christians is just hanging out on a Saturday night, eating, laughing and playing ca-rrrrazy games somewhere!
This summer, we've done two service projects: helping a missions group with their storage shed and packing backpacks for Graceworks.
